"Deserved Victory"

  • What happened lately in Lebanon from the unconditional withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from the South and West Bekaa, was more than a victory to the Lebanese Resistance and the Lebanese people in general, and to all the Arabs. The withdrawal portrayed various meanings and concepts, each forming a moral addition to the benefit of the actual Lebanese role that was earned by its heavy sacrifices and great steadfastness.

  • It is sufficient to explain those noble meanings and concepts that aroused from such noble victory, and to show that what happened was in the first place a defeat to an enemy so pompous and aggressive. Consequently, Lebanon grew and Israel became smaller, the Lebanese role is widened whereas the Israeli's diminished, by the whole world's certification and testimony.

  • As Syria the Sister, represented, through its President Asad's leadership to all the Arabs, by being steadfast, refusing any bargain, and supporting Lebanon and its Resistance in confronting the compulsive occupation, the peak of the creative coalition that drew a clear line for a new orbit, higher and more modern, to enable the Arabs to waken from their past stumblings. Big roles form the sizes and not the contrary, Liberation was the master of these roles, because it added more size to all who got involved in it, and reduced the sizes of all who refrained from its accompanying and caring. And, above all it reduced the size of the aggressors in each other's and the world's eyes.

  • The Lebanese were at the level of that incident which they made through their sacrifices, in order to regain, by their national unity, the role that Lebanon missed due to the era of division and quarrels. During that period, the enemy tried hard to nurture its fire deliberately working on the cancellation of the Lebanese role by the hands of its sons. So, in addition to the enemy's moral and substantial defeat, he was stroke by the failure in burning Lebanon again by the fire of dissension: between the Lebanese themselves, and between the Lebanese and their fraternal Syrians.

  • So, to protect this deserved victory and crop its fruits, becomes a primary national duty, which could not be maintained and caressed except through the coalition of the entire Lebanese, and in particularly, their open coalition with their brothers in Syria, to continue the promising distance that they both started.

  • Within the necessities lie the return of those Lebanese who were enticed by the enemy, so as to purify their hearts and consciences from all defects, and to remove hatreds from their souls, because the enemy's bet was to plant hatreds as a mean to empty this Lebanese victory from its noble meanings and concepts.

  • It is really and in every sense a deserved victory. It is a noble, honored victory, and should remain so through national consciousness, wisdom, creative unity, bright mind and far sighting.

               Truly Yours,
